where can i get info about my local population and market trends etc for free for market research?

Wikipedia, your local board of trade/chamber of commerce, your local member of parliament, local govt websites, national statistics websites, Census information…….There’s basically enough sources for you to use without having to resort to a paying service such as Mintel.
