I disagree westkan. Proprietary software (like Windows) is often more insecure. Bad people find bugs and either pass them around and exploit them, or try to tell the companies who never listen. Open Source software’s code is there for everyone to inspect. Some countries even use Open Source voting machines which I’d trust more than Die bold.

Open source is ok …
Open source is ok for tinkering with. The problem with open source (aka FireFox) is that every ding dong and their brother who thinks the can code is screwing with its innards, so it becomes bloated, with memory leaks etc. Did I mention FireFox?
