Did the CBO report on the govt option plan take in to account free market forces?
One competitor with lower costs would force others to lower their costs.
Im sure like most government forecasts on spending the true number will be much higher. At least that is how it always seems to work.

The whole Free Market nonsense is a ruse to help the big corporations get bigger, eliminate competition, and eliminate the middle class.
You want a true free market? Move to Somalia.

Not necessarily…you get what you pay for, and the Government option would have to be self sustaning, since they have said it would not be funded with our tax money, which would be totally against the constitution.

Not sure, but when they brag about "savings" — they didn’t take into account Administrative Costs. If you don’t read the fine print, you might be fooled into thinking the Government option will in fact save money (NET).

No it didn’t. It is incomprehensible to them.
Crapitalism is alive and well in America today despite the Socialist/Marxist Labelists.

That’s not exactly true. The price only partially depends on competitors’ prices. Take a look at the car industry. Just because Toyota can sell cars cheaper doesn’t mean that Mercedes will lower the price. In that market, people who buy Mercedes are looking for quality and not necessarily the lowest price.
The same applies to president’s example of FedEx, UPS and Post Office. USPS deliveries are the cheapest, but if you want to send something overnight, most people/businesses would go for a private carrier. Once again, the competitors’ price doesn’t affect the company’s price.
