How do you obtain a market analysis on your home?
The best way is to ask a friend or family member that has recently sold their home which Realtor they used…then call that Realtor and they will walk thru your home and be able to let you know what it will sell for.
There are web sites that claim to come up with a market value in seconds without any walk thru. I have found those to be several thousand off. More than 10% off in many cases. But if you are just doing it for fun and don’t care if it is accurate or not then they would be fine.

There are many ways to obtain a market analysis on your home. Many websites offer this service but BEWARE, the information is often incomplete and inaccurate. The best way is to get a licensed Realtor involved. Before you commit to selling your home, a professional in real estate should be willing to analyze the characteristics of your home and neighborhood and come up with fair market value for your home. Be wary of Realtors who will try to convince you that your home is worth less in order to get you to take a lower asking price. This tactic is often employed by Realtors who are looking to promise a quick sale. You can also get a good indication of your homes value by checking the tax records. Look up the appraisal district for your county or parish on-line for more information.

Call a Realtor and give them all the important information about your home. # of bedrooms, # of bathrooms, what size garage, etc. Any of your local Realtors will be more than happy to do it for you for free.

I have used a few of the websites that offer market analysis, but they are not accurate in my area.
Call a Realtor, they will look at your house and do a CMA for free.
